Speech Language Pathologist (Full-Time)

Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about working with children of all abilities; demonstrates knowledge of or interest in neurodiversity-affirming practices; and values evidence-based, play-centered interventions. Preference given to clinicians with experience in feeding therapy, gestalt language processing (GLP), and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations, including standardized assessments, clinical observations, and family interviews.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support a child’s communication, feeding, social-emotional, and play-based participation.

  • Provide feeding therapy services and collaborate with families on responsive/child-led feeding strategies (as applicable to training).

  • Support children using AAC systems; assist in selection, implementation, and caregiver education.

  • Incorporate gestalt language processing knowledge and child-led communication practices into intervention (preferred).

  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to promote generalization of skills across environments.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and neurodiversity-affirming approaches.

  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive clinic culture.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

  • Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

  • 2 years of pediatric experience preferred--cannot take a CF at this time

  • Experience with feeding therapy, gestalt language processing, and/or AAC preferred.

  • Experience working with children with neurodevelopmental differences preferred.

  • Must have or be able to obtain:– AHCCCS number– National Provider Identifier (NPI)– Level I Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and caregiver-coaching skills.

Part-Time Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

Position Overview
We are seeking a caring and motivated Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team on a part-time basis. This position primarily supports children who are late talkers and those working on speech sound/articulation and phonological development. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children, values play-based and strengths-centered care, and is interested in neurodiversity-affirming practices. This role works under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct speech therapy services to pediatric clients under the supervision of a licensed SLP, with a primary focus on early language development and articulation/phonology.

  • Implement treatment plans created by the supervising SLP using engaging, play-based, and child-led approaches.

  • Support development of expressive/receptive language skills in late talkers.

  • Facilitate speech sound and phonological goals through motivating, evidence-informed activities.

  • Collaborate with caregivers to support carryover of strategies into daily routines.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment sessions and progress notes.

  • Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing training opportunities.

  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive clinic culture.

    Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program (or equivalent per Arizona requirements).

  • Current Arizona SLPA license (or ability to obtain).

  • Experience working with young children preferred (late talkers and/or articulation/phonology experience a plus).

  • Interest in neurodiversity-affirming, play-based therapy approaches.

  • Must have or be able to obtain:– AHCCCS number– National Provider Identifier (NPI)– Level I Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card

  • Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating with families and team members.

  • Reliable, organized, and enthusiastic about supporting children’s communication development.
